C.V. WOOD
C.V. Wood was raised in the South Plains of Texas (Hell County) where he picked up his first guitar at the age of 8, airing to the classic television series Hee Haw. Influenced by Roy Clark, Bob Wills, Jimmy Bryant, Hank Williams III and the Reverend Horton Heat, endless drive and passion created this unique blend of Psychobilly and Western Swing. Since his move to Austin, Texas in 1990, he has performed countless times in search of the right musicians to complete his band. Preachers of Hell County is the destination and what a delight it is to behold the the fret board blaze that is none other than C.V. Wood – guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and producer.
